Cutting Chamber:
The cutting chamber is of robust design, fabricated from heavy-duty steel plate. The rotor is easily removable for
maintenance procedures. Safe access to the cutting chamber can be achieved without spanners. Opening of the cutting
chamber is by means of hinge with supporting gas-struts. The screen is supported in a hinged cradle.
Cutting Blades:
Blades are manufactured from high-grade toolsteel, fully hardened to 60Rc. The rotating blades are pre-set on the rotor
and the stationery blades are adjustable. Blade sharpening is carried out on a conventional surface grinder with a travel of
650mm.
Sound Insulation and Safety:
Standard machines are fitted with sound insulated panels for noise reduction. All access panels may be opened without the
use of spanners and are fitted with tamper proof safety switches. Electrical system interlocked to ensure correct procedures
are followed for maintenance and operation.
Air Extraction:
Standard machines can be fitted with a 0.75KW air extraction fan within the soundproof enclosure.
2 metres of ducting and a cyclone are supplied with this option for on site assembly.
